I agree with you.  The licenses aren't the only factor in determining
which station is the ancestor of which.  And for that reason, whatever
happened to the licenses, I think that it makes the most sense to consider
WRKO as the descendant of WNAC, WLAW as having died, and WVDA as a new
station.
