Speaking of ego, is anybody else tired of the bombastic 'BZ announcements: 
"We're Driving Fifty Thousand Watts Of Power!  We... Are ..." Irritating 
The Listeners.  

As the late Ogden Nash (a sometime-resident of North Hampton, NH) observed,
"at repeating itself the wireless is tireless." 


On the other side of the ledger, the smart-aleck liners for WRKO and WEEI 
(and for ESPN Radio's "Fabulous Sports Babe" show) are dog-gone funny, and 
the talent for those deserves kudos.
