strange DX

Back in the early 80's while living in Chicago, i was driving on Lake
Shore Drive one night and suddenly heard the voice of Ken Coleman booming
out of the speaker......as a long suffering red Sox fan this was exciting
as WTIC just wasn't strong enough to overide the Dallas station in
Chicago.....when it came to ID time it turned out it was a station at 1440
Westbrook-Portland Maine........(go figure)

The other odd memory back then was hearing WBZ clear as a bell an hour
before Chicago sunset..............
