I don't think the two events coincided so neatly. WBZ was already a Top
40 station, with survey sheets in the local stores, by the time I got back
to the Boston area in May 1957. Alan Dary was still on WBZ at that time
and also hosted "Boston Movietime," a late afternoon movie, on Channel 4,
at least through that summer and probably longer.
