Re: Legal IDs

I once read in rec.radio.broadcasting about a station in San Francisco
that wanted to call itself WKRP, after the TV show.  But, of course, they
couldn't get a W-call in California.  So, the story goes, they got the
call KRPN.  Their legal ID went "This is W KRPN San Francisco!"  And they
said it in such a way that it sounded like "WKRP in San Francisco!"
