WNDS dies!

WNDS TV-50 Derry, NH "The Winds of New England" was transferred to Ramcast
this afternoon.

Switch to home shopping service scheduled for midnight tonight.


3 or 4 engineers, 4 production people retained (there's a union contract
for the engineers requiring the new owners to keep their jobs filled
depending on number of hours the station is on the air.)

Only non-union person to keep his job was the Chief Engineer. 

Celebrated meteorologist Al Kaprelian (Caprelian?) is out of a job and
reportadly took it very hard.
