That, I think, is why WCRB would be the last survivng commercial classical 
station in the market. WBCN and WXHR were only on FM, but WCRB had 1330 
AM. It also owned a sound contracting business that kept it alive for a 
few years, although by the time I got there (1985), the sound contracting 
business was losing money and it was the radio station that carried it.
