"Little Walter" DeVenne Has Passed

Saddened to share the news that "Little Walter" DeVenne has passed away from
COVID on his 73rd birthday, as announced on his Facebook page. Walter's
oldies & doo-wop show first aired on WTBS Cambridge, then aired on several
stations including WBCN, the 98.5 incarnation of WROR, WCGY, WODS and the
last station his show aired on was WBOQ Gloucester when they were oldies a
few years ago. He also hosted oldies dances in nightclubs and lounges in the
Boston area. May he Rest In Peace.
