WBZ 1030

I was told that for a period of time reel to reel tapes were recorded NOT
on the radio side of the building but on the TV side and they were mailed
to corporate. The snippets I have heard do not sound like they were
recorded off the air.
When did radio move to the TV newsroom? The radio side was reconfigured at
some point (early 80's?) and C-SPAN did several simulcasts there in the
late 80's.
