Frank Stower, WV Public Radio. Still moving the meters at 90.

Here with family in Gallipolis, Ohio, just across the great Ohio River from Point Pleasant, West Virginia, I was fortunate to tune, this morning, to West Virginia Public Radio to hear the "fill-in" host on their classical music block as none other than the legendary Frank Stowers, now in his 90th year. As this 2012 article points out, Stowers cracked the mic during World War II. His delivery, while clearly challenged, reflects that of a man who has radio so very deep in his heart. What a treasure.
