> Those of us who worked in and around the world of music saw this coming the day corporate took over and began disassembling WBCN from Day One.
> Sam Kopper kept the tradition and the call letters going for several more years, hoping that the company he worked so long and hard for would eventually see the light, reward his loyalty and bring great radio back to New England. 
> Today those hopes were laid to rest. 
> Lets hold our glasses high to Sam and Destiny Curtis and the entire staff of tireless, idealistic and loyal workers who kept the WBCN sound and legacy going for these last terrific years of great music!
