Ch 7, the News Station

I'm not surprised. My town was one of the first wired by Verizon. Probably 4 years ago now. For 3 years, they sent me 3 mailings a week begging me to switch from Comcast to FiOS. That's close to 500 mailings! Telephone calls too, although thankfully not as frequent. I finally got rid of them when they no longer would fix my copper pair phone line (it was noisy) and insisted I had to let them put in at least FiOS telephone service. Instead, I turned in my old Comcast cable modem and got a new one with Comcast Digital Voice. I guess they caught on when Comcast asked them to port over my phone number...hahaha.

Odd since Verizon made a big deal last year announcing that they were no longing building Fios anywhere. They would maintain what they had but there would be no further expansion. Period.
