WATD is an anomaly. Unlike most stations, some of which have been sold a number of times, WATD is still owned and run by its founder, Ed Perry. Ed still lives in Duxbury, and he has always kept a local focus. In these days of corporate radio local owner-operators like Ed are rare and should be lauded for serving their communities.
