Touch 106

Like Touch 106 I was reminded of the Joseph Goebbels quote “If you repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth” (or perception).  Tonight in a local pub I overheard patrons at the bar arguing that Tampa (the city) is not Tampa it is Tampa Bay (the region) because the sports teams are called the Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers and Lightning....most at the bar thought actual name of the city is Tampa Bay.  I guess schools teaching geography are a distant memory,  no idea that Tampa Bay is not only Tampa it is also Clearwater, Largo, St Petersburg and dozens of other cities and towns.
