FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai says it is time to rewrite rules for AM

Does he know anything about either physics or RF engineering?  (It
would be a pleasant surprise, since the FCC in recent decades has been
dominated by lawyers who used to work for telephone companies.)

I have no idea how the cross-ownership restrictions have survived
court scrutiny this long.
