Who brought you to WBZ?

Growing up in small-town northern New England in the 60s, WBZ was pretty
much the only station that played rock & roll that you could hear during
the day, so it was quite popular as you might expect.
I think my first awareness of it was the summer I was 11 (1962)...I used to
mow my great-aunt's lawn, and the teenaged girl next door had it
blasting. I remember Loco-motion by Little Eva being a big hit that summer.
