Who brought you to WBZ?

I would have to say it was Bob Lobel and Upton Bell doing "Calling All Sports" in the mid to late 70s (before Bob went to the TV side). Up until that time we mainly listened to WHDH because John "Pudge" Flynn, who was Jess Cain's producer, was a neighbor of ours. I did listen somewhat to BZ before, especially to the Top 30 countdown on the weekends and to Bruins, Celtics and Patriots games. 


I do remember getting Lobel's autograph at a softball game they played in Dedham once, circa 1978. I kept it at least through college.
