And so often what DID get saved was inconsequential.  I once worked at a
station that had saved reams of old AP wire copy (just in case they needed
to refer to an old story), taped interviews with unsuccessful candidates
for local office, etc.  Airchecks of regular programming, old music surveys
and the like, not so much.
