The loop antenna is for AM. What you need is the FM dipole antenna,
which should have come with the radio as well. It's a piece of wire
shaped like a "T." You want to hang it up so the top of the T is
parallel to the floor, as high as possible, and ideally aimed
northwest-southeast so it's broadside to the transmitter sites in Boston.
