I think you are referring to Barnstable Broadcasting, which, IIRC, had
its HQ in Waltham. IIRC, Barnstable never owned a station in the
Boston market. From the name, you'd think they must have had a
presence on Cape Cod, but I don't believe that was the case either. I
have no knowledge of who the principals of Barnstable were, or whether
the company still exists, and if so, where its HQ are now. The most
likely scenario is that Barnstable was bought by another broadcasting
company. Does anyone here know which one? And where were the company's
principal markets and properties?
