There was (not sure if it still exists) another group with its head
office in Wellesley, but no stations in the Boston market. It's not
that unusual. Saga doesn't own anything in Detroit (or indeed any
broadcast outlets in Michigan, unless you count the "Farm Radio
Network" in Lansing). Many companies used to be headquartered in New
York (and are now in Fairfield County, Connecticut) despite not having
any other operations there.
