Actually, that's another advantage WBUR has.  They understand how 
annoying pledge week can be, and they abbreviate it by encouraging 
advance donations to shorten the pledge drive.  They just had one 
that lasted all of two days and wasn't anywhere near as obnoxious as 
a WGBH pledge drive.
