I don't believe CBC wanted to sell that site, and they probably wanted 
to charge more for rent than Corus was willing to pay. And since Corus 
already owned the CFCF/CIQC site at Kahnawahke, it evidently made 
economic sense to them to put 690/940 at a site they already owned.

(Their other owned AM site, the CKVL 850 site south of Montreal, was 
eventually sold off and I believe now has housing on it.)
