self supporting TV towers

I've lost count of all the AM sites locally that have parking lots
underneath the guy wires of AM towers. Of course, the towers aren't
1300' high, but several are more than 400' and most are more than
300'. Sid worked at one such site--the old WKOX site in Framingham--no
longer home to WKOX, but still home to WBIX/WSRO. Others are the old
WRCA site in Waltham, the WXKS (AM)/WILD site in Medford, and the WWZN
site in Waltham. I'd be surprised if there weren't others just in the
Boston area. WLYN/WESX in Lynn probably is another such.
