There used to be a channel on DirecTV known as Newsworld
International that was owned by the CBC, and had a number of Canadian
programs including their nightly 1 hour newscast "The National".
That channel no longer exists.

If one wants to listen to Canadian radio programs there are several
channels of re-packaged CBC radio programs on Sirius Satellite Radio.
You can also listen to numerous CBC radio stations that stream on the
Internet. You can find these at http://www.cbc.ca/radio/.
