I think the bottom line in Connecticut does not force unions ( see
Bristol, CT ) SportsCenter still has humans running cameras.

NABET Chicago is screaming about this but that will go nowhere.

Stamford is a studio location for many cable networks (YES, VERSUS and
a few others) as it is cheaper to limo talent 40 miles out of
Manhattan than deal with the unions.
