What ever happened to . . .

I've occasionally wondered whatever happened to Steve Fredericks?  He  
used to do an overnight talk show, I think, on WMEX, I'd guess around  
1969-1972, when I first moved to the area.  I remember he would close  
with "Please, work for peace," since it was Vietnam War days.  I  
believe that he went back to Philadelphia from where he'd come, to do  
a sports show, but seemed to disappear after that.
