Can the delay be partly explained by the receiver itself? I know I can have my XM portable and fixed units 3-5 seconds different. Also my Motorola cable boxes can sometimes be 5 seconds apart which can cause havoc when people are watching a game in separate rooms. Still 30 seconds is a lot.
