It's worth a news story if only to illustrate the all-too-common talk-show-host mentality these days, where he claims that he's too busy trying to push his on-air agenda to actually read his mail.  IOW, "it's not my fault I didn't see the notice."

Sure.  We've never heard that excuse before.
