We owe a great deal to your mom and her generation, Dan. (And how great 
is that? 104!) The technological changes mom and her generation 
withstood, tolerated, and adapted to blow away anything we could ever 
imagine. Most of what we consider as new is just more of the same...just 
smaller, or bigger, or flatter, or faster, or ... etc.
