A veteran of 69 years as a reporter, broadcaster, and commentator, George 
Putnam, age 94, passed away September 12, 2008. 

He is being remembered at a memorial on December 6, 2008, at the Jeffer's 
Estate, located at 1823 Foothill Blvd. in La Canada, California 91011. The 
memorial is scheduled for 1:00 pm Pacific Time.
