Wind gust blows off MPBN roof

The MPBN incident was the banner headline in this morning's Bangor Daily News.  Pretty awful.  Here's the link:

The News also reported that Caribou, in Aroostook County, has received a record 182.5 inches of snow thus far this season.  This doesn't take into account the blizzard from which the town is emerging this morning.  

I remember seeing an old National Geographic from the '50s which showed photos of snow in The County that buried telephone poles up to their lower crossarms.  And there's MORE than that this year??
