Pat was the Program Director at WNBC at that time.  When I worked with him 
as his producer at WHDH in the early 90s he had a picture on his desk of 
Imus standing on Pat's desk at WNBC staring down at a bemused looking (and, 
of course, much younger looking) Pat Whitley.
