Was he fired?  If so he landed on his feet really fast.  If the dates 
of these airchecks are correct, he did his final WBZ hootenanny on 
Sunday 3/6/66 (pre-recorded), and debuted on WKBW (where he 
repeatedly says "WBZ") the following night.
