Well I guess I misread your earlier post. In my area they will not let your
copper remain for any purpose. 
Yes they can deliver POTS over FiOS but if you have an existing service that
requires copper (in the home anyways) they aren't interested in you as a
customer. If they can't remove the copper the installation stops.

That doesn't surprise me, but then ISDN isn't POTS either.
