it was supposed to be just for the day, according the WROR email club note 
they sent out.  they also dressed up one of the street crew/interns as Santa 
and did a number of drive-around appearances throughout the area yesterday, 
giving out free stuff.

nothing wrong with having a little fun to beat the heat.  i play a Christmas 
tune or two when it gets really hot (on occasion).  it's "aural" air 
conditioning.  heck, i once did the no school announcements in the middle of 
the summer, too.
