I thought WSNY was more of a "Music-of-your-life" format...

I never understood the change to WSNY, since the station kept the 
beautiful music format during that time, along with the FM station, 
which continued to be WHUE (or WHUE-FM).  It wasn't long (a year at 
most, I think) before the AM became WHUE again.
