When Mac died Dick Richmond showed up and it was obvious he knew
nothing about radio. He was also cheaper than his brother.

Dick turned the station over to the GM of WPGC Bob Howard who flew up
and back from DC almost daily. He was a hard man to work for and his
cardinal rule was no coffee in the control room.

Howard got a large settlement from Mac's estate and bought WYSL and
WPHD in Buffalo which did very well.
