Can't you just see those rocketing Couric numbers making the folks at 
WBZ all giddy?  They'd be very wise to make as much out of Jacobson as 
possible and let her do it her way.  And with CBS Evening News as poor a 
product as it is, I'd bite the bullet and bring back a full hour at six 
and run Katie at 7.
