Although the Bruins are part owners of NESN, I don't believe they were the instigators here.  In fact, the Globe story infers that the Bruins intervened to try to keep a role for Dale Arnold on the telecasts.

As a lifelong fan, I think it's a terrible decision at a time when the NHL is in terrible shape, in Boston and everywhere else.
