The Yankee Network quietly closed up shop on 26 February 1967.  The 
call letters changed from WNAC to WRKO the week of 6 March, and On 
Monday, 13 March, 1967 WRKO changed format to top 40.  All 
information is according to various Boston newspapers, by the 
way.  This question did come up a few months ago...
