That's correct where southern Europe is concerned. Follow the great 
circles, though, and all those DXers in Finland and Norway and Sweden 
were and are getting WBZ over a northern path; the same lobe that bombs 
the signal into New Hampshire and Maine blasts it into Scandinavia, too.
