WDRC-FM flips back to conventional oldies

Well, I may have rushed to judgment. Although I heard no '80s material
in extensive weekend listening and four solid hours Monday morning,
today both "Heart of Rock and Roll" (Huey Lewis) and "Keeping the Faith"
(Billy Joel) have been played, and I haven't had DRC-FM on much at all.

It does seem that more of the older songs in the library ("Dawn," "It
Hurts to Be in Love") are being played than were played in the brief
"Big Hits" era, so maybe this is more of a format tweak than a flip.
When I heard "Dawn" and "Opus 17 (Don't Worry About Me)" over the last
couple of days, those were the first Four Seasons songs other than
"December 1963 (Oh What a Night)" and "Who Loves You" I'd encountered on
DRC-FM since last fall.

So something is happening here, but I don't know what it is.

Still in CT, still puzzled,
Howard
