WMMW, whose transmitter is about two miles from my front door, is a 100
percent simulcast of WDRC(AM), except during weekday afternoon New
Britain Rock Cats baseball games, during which WMMW carries the game
while WDRC, the nominal flagship, carries its normal talk lineup. There
hasn't been any local programming on WMMW for years. The station has no
presence in the city other than its transmtter and tower array.
