Dick Raddatz (Red Sox, WEEI) has died

Former Red Sox pitcher Dick "The Monster" Raddatz (with the team in the early 60s) died yesterday from injuries related to a fall down a flight of stairs at his home in Easton. He was 67. Listeners to WEEI were familiar with his appearances on "The Big Show" and I believe he also did some work with the various Sunday night sports shows on local TV. More recently, Raddatz was pitching coach for Lynn's North Shore Spirit.
