Here's the general information for the list you've subscribed to,
in case you don't already have it:
This is a mailing-list for people interested in discussing Boston-area
radio and television. We are also happy to see discussion about other
markets which are covered by the Boston and Upstate New York Radio
Archives Web sites (<http://www.bostonradio.org/radio/bostonradio.html>).
There is also a digested version of this list
(boston-radio-interest-digest). Although this list is not moderated,
a certain amount of self-moderation is expected of the participants.
In particular:
- Large binary files (or any other sort of encoded data) are
not permitted.
- Commercial notices (i.e., for-sale or job-announcement
postings) are generally not permitted, although pointers to
them are welcome.
- Posters are generally expected to follow standard Internet
electronic mail conventions; i.e., no HTML, trim quoted text
in replies, etc.
- Mail from certain senders and domains is subject to
manual approval.
