Why does WCVB have the rights to local broadcasts of the playoffs?  
Does this type of arrangement occur in the other cities that have teams 
in the playoffs?

Does this deal continue to the American League championship and World 
Series games?

And why do they think the audience for the Sox games wouldn't far 
surpass the audience for their regular programming?  They'd have a 
chance to advertise their shows to an audience that might not already 
watch WCVB.
