WBUR fundraiser - ouch

An interesting fundraiser in many ways this round...this morning WBUR 
reported that they'd given away 6223 books to kids.  Their plan is that 
they give away one book per $100 raised.  So, by that math, one would 
assume they've raised about $620000.  Considering the goal is $1000000 and 
the fundraiser ends tonight...that's a hefty gap to make the goal.

Does anyone have any speculation as to what the "real" goal is?  I know 
WBUR always makes their publicly announced fundraiser goals WAY higher than 
the real goal they hope to make.
