Re: Peter Jennings on the radio?

While I've heard "Peter Jennings Journal"....I've never seen ABC use someone
for an actual newscast. (Until recently.)

CBS used to put some of it's old anchors/reporters out to pasture on the
radio network. ;-) Also, sometimes on the weekend I would hear anchors
fdrom their weekend TV broadcasts 'face the Nation' even (years ago) '60
Minutes' anchors doing a newscast on the weekend.

NBC Radio used to use it's anchors on the network to do the newscasts. Jane
Pauley was a regular on the 9AM newscast on NBC radio. (I always wondered
how she made it from the Today set to the radio booth in time...seeing as
they were probably not close to each other...and also the NBC newscast was
prefed at :54. However, now that NBC radio is not owned by the NBC TV
NEtwork...I wonder what arrangement they have come to to use NBC news
personell (i.e. Lester Holt) on the radio network.
