I rented the DVD re-issue of "Animal House" tonight.
Just before the Deltas cause havoc at the homecoming
parade, one of the Delta says, "the time has come to
do something stupid and futile" and Bluto answers,
"and we're just the guys to do it!"

Yup, clearly they should have taken the hint. But
maybe they figure this is a kind of "protest and
maybe things will change" deal; like the type
of people who get arrested protesting everything
from nuclear plants to abortion clinics to
unfair labor pratices. You see them on TV being led
away by police, and they drag their feet and struggle.
Civil (or not so civil) disobediance--which may have
its place sometimes, but not here.

Maybe RFB figured they could make a stand in a manner
like this; sure, they were warned, but, "license?
We don't need no stinkin' license!"
